BUSINESS INFORMATION

The information a customer needs to identify and contact the trader.

These details must be accurate, prominent, and kept current before GtoSky can accept public payments. This preview intentionally does not invent a company number, address, VAT number, or support contact.

Document version 2026-08-13

Business details are still required for a public payment launch.

This policy is structured for a UK residential repair service, but GtoSky must publish its verified legal entity, customer contact route, service coverage, VAT treatment, and complaints details before it accepts live public payments.

2. Before public payments are enabled

GtoSky should remain a private preview until the following information is verified, published in the customer journey, and checked by the operating business:

  • legal trading name and, where applicable, company registration number
  • registered office and customer-service contact details
  • VAT treatment and VAT number where applicable
  • service-area coverage and the identity of the contracting repair provider
  • complaints contact and any applicable alternative dispute resolution information

Live Stripe configuration, real availability and coverage rules, confirmation emails, and a reachable cancellation and complaints route must also be tested before customers are sent to this website.

3. Repair provider and customer relationship

If GtoSky operates as an intermediary or books a third-party engineer, it must make clear who provides the repair service, who contracts with the customer, who receives payment, and who handles the complaint. That information should appear before the customer makes a payment.
